Su banchitu is a remake of traditional stool (banchitu) made of cork and typical of the villages of the island of Sardinia, a small and simple seat box, mainly used to gather around the fireplace.
The design starts from a simple box, that wad developed using the parameters and modify tools of the shape.
The idea is to get a custom object, where the customer can choose the shape of the object, changing the values ​​of the parameters: Width, Height, and Twist of the box, design type, size and softness of the openings.
After having established the final form, the file it's ready for the mking of the object by numerically controlled machines such as printers 3D, milling whit 5 or 7 axis, made of resins, plastics, pressed cork or MDF.
